Terry D. Sellars was born in 1955 in Hahira, Georgia. He attended Lowndes High School and graduated in 1973. Upon graduation, he attended Valdosta State University. In May of 1976, he married Sharon Elizabeth Jones. They have three children, all of whom are in full-time Christian service.
Pastor Sellars received Christ as his Saviour in November of 1973. God called him to preach soon after and he was ordained to the ministry in August of 1976. He pastored Maranatha Baptist Church in Moultrie, Georgia for more than eight years. He has been pastoring Faith Baptist Church in Ludowici, Georgia since 1985.
This ministry is also home to Faith Baptist Christian Academy, an outstanding Christian school ministry that has been in operation since 1979.
FBCA has a great heritage of spiritual emphasis, academic excellence, and athletic achievement. Pastor Sellars has a heart for young people and adults. He is the moderator of the Southeast Georgia Baptist Fellowship which began in 1993.
Pastor Sellars is highly respected for his Biblical positions and leadership with pastors and educators all over the Southeast.
